What it is

Tom yum is a Thai hot-and-sour soup built on lemongrass, lime and chilli. A tom yum burrito takes that flavour out of the bowl and wraps it, with rice, in a tortilla: a genuinely unusual crossover rather than a Thai dish and an American dish served side by side.

This one is ours. It is not a dish you will find on another menu in the city, and it is the clearest single example of what Thai-American fusion means here.

What is in ours

Chicken, mushroom, carrot, lettuce, cilantro, egg fried rice, house tom yum sauce, tortilla chips.

Quoted from the menu. Prices and availability can change, so the current menu is always the one to trust.

Questions people ask

What is in it?
Chicken, mushroom, carrot, lettuce, cilantro and egg fried rice, with our house tom yum sauce, served with tortilla chips.
What is tom yum?
A Thai hot-and-sour soup, usually built on lemongrass, galangal, lime and chilli. It is the flavour base here rather than a soup on the side.
How spicy is it?
The menu marks it with our mild symbol. Heat is personal, so if it matters to you, tell us when you order and ask the kitchen.
Is there a vegetarian version?
As written on the menu it contains chicken. Ask us about substitutions rather than assuming. We would rather answer than have you find out at the table.
Where is it on the menu?
Under Rise and Shine, next to the Chicken Waffle and the breakfast croissant.
